Cool demo (v0.02). Observations/comments:

  1. The gameplay is so fast that you don't get a chance to see anything, I didn't know what half the things I was hitting were until the game finally slowed down after a while. Burrito Bison cheated a bit and had obstacles running the same direction as you, which might work here.
  2. No player input, though I assume you're probably gonna go Burrito Bison and do a slam attack, or do a Learn to Fly and have some kind of tilt to control a little.
  3. Was clicking blindly to find the buttons that worked. Might be worth slipping on some [PLACEHOLDER] signs on things that aren't implemented yet.
  4. The final size and shape is so... odd. I couldn't figure out what I was looking at, the belly obscures everything so well and your character spins so fast that it just looks like you're playing as a big black lumpy donut, heh.

great concept, i played the tech demo twice, and it's pretty nice.

Windows throws out virus warning - FYI

Seems like a good concept- looking forward to see how it develops. Unsure if there's supposed to be any sort of replayability in this build, but if I alt-tab it refreshes the game but fails to spawn anything when I launch again.

This issue has been fixed. That is unfortunately a bit of jank with the current build. If you keep launching eventually some enemies show up though relaunching the game is more effective. Its a known bug. I'm glad you enjoy the concept though, Thank You!

The game refreshes when the Mouse stops moving, and I did totally forget about the entities not foxing themselves

Toss Turtle and Burrito Bison you say?...
Interested. Loved playing those games.
Just make sure to take notes of the shops / upgrade system.
Not the sellout ads though! Unless you get that good and wish to have capitalist gains. Understandable.
Maybe I'll try once I see some more improvements.

We have been taking some rather extensive notes on the upgrade systems, trust me. That's part of the reason the menus aren't in the game, they need more care before they are really ready, but they are most definitely in the works.
I personally hate ads and don't wish to put them in the game. The planned income aspect is through flat sales, donations, and cameo appearances/playable characters from supporter commissions.
